If /XM is already high or low at power on, you don't need to use /RST.

Please first try a normal connection (that is /XM low or not connected) with the EasyVR Commander, just to confirm you got the serial communication working. Then disconnect the software, disconnect USB (power off), pull /XM high with resistor, re-connect the USB (power on), and this time use the SoundTable function on the EasyVR Commander (do this while the software is not connected).

Hello, It's me again.

I 've tried to make a normal connection and it works correctly.
I've also done (with 100Ohm for 3V and 680Ohm for 5V) what you told me but it seems it doesn't change anything: the same error is displayed : "download failed..you may check connection and setting and try again."

I really need to add a new sound table for my project.. do you have any idea of the problem ?

Please report what message is shown on top of the SoundTable window, just below the title, when the error message is displayed.

Below "Downloading sound table to "COM3" (which is the good one) ,  it's written "Error: failed verifying block".

How to fix this ? thank you
