We are really excited to announce that we have now released the EasyVR 2.0 and it’s Arduino cousin, the EasyVR Shield 2.0.
The EasyVR 2.0 includes 3 new very cool features:
- Support for custom Speaker Independent (SI) Command creation
In the past you had to either settle with the existing built-in SI command sets, or if you wanted to have your own commands they were only Speaker Dependent. I.e the module could only react to custom commands that were given with your voice. No more. Now it is possible to create up to 28 of your custom SI commands. This opens up a whole lot of new possibilities for your Speech Recognition projects. All you need is the new EasyVR 2.0 Module or the EasyVR Shield 2.0 and the QuickT2SI Lite license and you are ready to go.
Sonic net allows you to network multiple devices together with audio tokens. The tokens are audible, but they can be embedded into standard audio such as music, spoken audio or anything else. A sound source like an mp3 file, CD, or DVD can also be used. This is particularly useful for applications where other wireless communication protocols are not available or possible. Have a go with this new feature and get creative.
- DTMF Tone Generation
It is now possible for you to create DTMF Tones with the EasyVR 2.0 Module.
What if I already have a first generation EasyVR Module?
No worries – you can easily get all of these new features up and running on your EasyVR Module with a simple Firmware Upgrade.
